Our Yoga Classes

Ashtanga yoga is by nature a vigorous vinyasa class and it is suggested that you are familiar with a vinyasa practice prior to joining our Ashtanga class. In this class you will be guided through a majority of the Primary series.

A great way to increase energy, relieve stress & tension. This class explores various yogic breathing techniques followed by simple guided meditation to relax your mind & body. Regular practice purifies and energizes the body, eventually leading to experiences of profound relaxation, peace and vitality. Suitable for all

Hatha comes from two words – ‘Ha’ stands for sun the active and masculine force and ‘Tha’ is the moon, the feminine and receptive energy of the moon – that join together to purify the body and the mind. Suitable for beginners who are new to yoga and are learning yoga postures. This class is gentle and slow, it is easier for beginners to learn the postures, the breathing techniques and the principles of yoga.

For students who would like to build greater strength and challenge themselves. Introduction to more challenging poses will include alignment instruction and demonstration. The class moves at a slightly faster pace and deeper levels of basic poses are practiced.

Sequence of selected Hatha posters linked together that flow naturally from one to the next with synergised breathing. This class includes variations of sun salutations, standing and seated poses along with body balancing. Modifications will be provided for postures to enhance flexibility, alignment and strength to make this class accessible for all.

Hatha Stretch is a total body stretching class which includes all major, minor and fascia muscles, designed to improve overall flexibility and balance. Poses may be held for a few minutes to target the deeper layers of muscles and fascia. You can expect deep stretching to enhance a greater range of movement.
The inverted postures of yoga are some of the most beneficial yet intimidating of the asanas. You will be introduced to and practice postures such as headstand, shoulder stand, forearm stand, handstand, and more. You will be guided through preparation postures, alignment technique, proper modifications, and feel how to develop the power in your core strength.

Power Vinyasa is a dynamic and energetic class. This unique style of yoga where postures are linked together in a continuous, challenging and creative flow that combines strength and flexibility while toning the body and clearing the mind. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace with intention and to listen to their body as they explore their own edge and discover inner strength.

Vinyasa classes explore complex movements and sequences including arm balances and inversions layered over solid foundations. These classes may incorporate deeper backbends, hip opening, twists, and forward folds. The teacher will encourage rest periods and offer modifications as needed.

Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. This is a passive practice where poses are held for 3-5 minutes with very little muscular engagement, supported by props and the gentle guidance. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to stronger, more dynamic (yang) styles of yoga and exercise such as running, walking, hiking, and biking. Relax into deep stretches in this meditative yoga practice.

This class will focus on physical poses for balance and core strength in a fun and accessible way. Appropriate for all levels of yoga experience. This class helps students to identify such imbalances and create symmetry by balancing the strength and flexibility in their bodies. Concentration, core strength and stability are enhanced by doing balancing postures.
